"New" Official Firmware for the Old AZbox and ME/ MiniME

We almost didn't believed there would come official firmware from OpenSAT but today they surprised us.


On Facebook  they released :

Where some distributors has to stop  after all the great work they have done for Opensat there are other distributors who still have great plans for our beloved receivers. In the comments on this blog AZbox Canada published a comment wich deserve more attention. So here it is again:

Non-AZboxnews? XBMC For Android is coming out

On XBMC.org Theuni published on 13 july in his blog they are working on XBMC on Android.
Popular media client XBMC recently announced an app for Android on the developer blog for XBMC. The app requires no root or jailbreaks, say the developers. "XBMC can be launched as an application on your set-top-box, tablet, phone, or wherever else Android may be found."

In order to accelerate progress and support the open development AZBox MOD, it was decided that we should not waste dozens of forums.
So for a speech and image development support, everything will be centralized on www.openazbox.info.

Certainly, here and there ... users can always ask and get answers ... etc.

Opensat firmware 0.9.5310 release

New Official Firmware Release from Opensat for Elite, Premium, Ultra and Premium Plus. Version 9.5310 with You Tube Fix.

OpenAZBox PLi MOD Me Prerelease 2

After the release for the MiniME the RTi Team released today the ME version. They gove in the changenotes also some interesting info about the "old"boxes.
