AzBox miniMe American closed edition version 1.1 firmware

Did you heard about AZbox. The open source community box from the early days? It looks like that time is over. The new keyword from AZbox is now "severally" ? We don't know. For months we don't know anymore. 

Next step is OpenRSI for dutch users alone? OpenAZbox for the germans and the OFirmware for the spanish? Android for Roald Dahl?

Non US users: let us know if the statement is right and the firmware indeed only works for US.

For all models there is a new OpenRSI 3.0 , all with kernel 3.3.1.

Please don't update online but with AZup otherwise you may break your AZbox.

Update will succeed only it will not install the 3.3.1 kernel so your still on buggy 3.5.5 kernel.

You have 2 options now:

 1 - Download the new image and install kernel only with azup 2.2.7, or
 2 - Download the new image and install complete image incl kernel with azup 2.2.7

Persian Prince got major problems

News from Persian Prince images team (known of the Persian Prince images for AZbox and more) :

Very bad news.  

RC3 won't be released till further notice (maybe never) in previous week we lost our Compiler because of unknown reasons (maybe electric shock or something else).

It's gonna cost more than 5000$ for us to buy another one and sorry we can't afford that kind of money in our country (Iran) because of bad economical circumstances.
Our android 4 app (Persian Grandeur) is ready for release but it's not gonna work with previous versions like RC2 so you can't use it.

As we don't have any sponsor you can consider this project as closed for now.
We're looking for sponsors (any kind) and donations but not 10$ donations from users.

As stated on the Openpli forum it's a kind of a port. The Openpli team doesn't support this new receiver ( yet ). Read more here.
