Non-AZboxnews? XBMC For Android is coming out

On XBMC.org Theuni published on 13 july in his blog they are working on XBMC on Android.
Popular media client XBMC recently announced an app for Android on the developer blog for XBMC. The app requires no root or jailbreaks, say the developers. "XBMC can be launched as an application on your set-top-box, tablet, phone, or wherever else Android may be found."

For the readers who never heard of XBMC :

XBMC Media Center is a free and open source cross platform media player application developed by the XBMC Foundation, a non-profit technology consortium.[2][3] XBMC media center software is available for multiple operating-systems and hardware platforms, featuring a 10-foot user interface for use with televisions and remote controls. It allows users to play and view most videos, music, podcasts, and other digital media files from local and network storage media and the internet.

How great would it be when there will be Android on our AZbox ME ( as promised by Opensat ) and it would be possible getting XBMC on it? Maybe it will always be a dream ? When there will be Android for AZbox and if it would be possible 2 get XBMC on it Opensat would win an Oscar for the ME. Boot for example AZtrino or Enigma when you want to watch television and boot Android with XBMC for a full HD mediaplayer? It's all opensource ...

I'm going to dream a little bit further ;-) Let's hope it will be someday AZboxnews instead of Non-AZboxnews. The answers from Opensat ( or HTCE/ DT Innovations? ) still don't give us much hope ...
