Install guide for OpenRSI

A short howto guide for flashing instructions on your AZbox Elite/ Premium(+)/ Ultra model.






From Enigma2 to OpenRSI

- Download latest kernel and image file on  Download page
- Boot box in resque mode ( start receiver with volume plus pressed)
- Ipnumber comes in display
- Start Azup 2.16 ( First install 2.04 )
- Set correct IPnumber

- Select "only kernel" under advanced options ( all other options turn grey)
- Press installE2/kernel
- Select kernel file on PC
- When done box reboots press volume up for resque mode
- Ipnumber comes in display
- Start Azup 2.16
- Set correct IPnumber
- Deselect "copy kernel" under advanced options
- Press installE2/kernel
- Select image file on PC
- When done box will reboot and boots into Enigma2 setup wizard

From OFW to OpenRSI Enigma2 

IMPORTANT: BE SHURE YOU HAVE HARDWARE ACCELERATION DISABLED BEFORE YOU START!!!!!! 

- First we have to prepare your receiver for Enigma2
- Press HOME and in System information to Software Update
– Internet - Change url ( green button ) into : www.neutrinohd.eu (tnx Ronnie1966)
- Press OK twice and select 0.0.E2 AZBOX
- New kernel will be downloaded and installed
- Box reboots into resque mode ( ipnumber in display )
- If you don’t have Azup installed on PC do next 2 steps
   - Download and install Azup 2.04 (latest installer version)
   - Download and unpack Azup 2.16
- Download latest image and kernel file from OpenRSI   Download page  for your receiver
- Start Azup 2.16
- Set correct IPnumber
- Select "only kernel" under advanced options ( all other options turn grey)
- Press installE2/kernel
- Select kernel file on PC
- When done box reboots press volume up for resque mode
- Ipnumber comes in display
- Start Azup 2.16
- Set correct IPnumber
- Deselect "copy kernel" under advanced options
- Press installE2/kernel
- Select image file on PC
- When done box will reboot and boots into Enigma2 setup wizard
